Mary R. Anderson is the David and Carolyn Brodsky Chair  in U.S.  Constitutional Democracy and Culture at Salve Regina University in  Newport, Rhode Island. Her teaching and research interests have a focus  on public opinion and policy including the influence of political  psychology on political behavior.


Her research has appeared in The American Political Science Review, Journal of Politics, Political Psychology, and Political Behavior.  She is the author of Community Identity and Political  Behavior (2010 Palgrave Macmillan)  and co-editor of Meta-Analysis for Public Management and Policy (2013 Jossey-Bass).
